Orestes and Primo Iacobucci opened White Cross Pharmacy in 1933 on Charles St. in Providence , RI. To accommodate an expanding customer base, a new generation of the Iacobucci family opened a second location in North Providence in 1987.
White Cross added a long-term care division in the early 1980s, servicing skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and residential group homes. In 1993, White Cross purchased the Moshassuck Medical Building pharmacy in Providence and sold its retail interests six years later to focus on long-term care.
Today, White Cross Pharmacy employs over 25 people and has recently moved to a new 5100 square foot facility with state of the art equipment and fixtures. The pharmacy plans to expand its long-term care division, which includes at-home care and multi-dose medication compliance packaging.

Robert is a 1967 graduate of the URI College of Pharmacy. Robert led the expansion of White Cross Pharmacy from its start all the way to a three location pharmacy with an emphasis on servicing the long-term care community.
Robert is active in pharmacy associations on both the state and national level. His leadership has guided White Cross to become one of the most successful 3rd generation businesses in the state of RI. In addition to his position as CEO, Robert directs the growing multidose medication management division.

After graduating from Boston College in 1993, Robert went on to URI’s College of Pharmacy. In 1997, Robert became the Pharmacist in Charge at White Cross Pharmacy of North Providence. In 1999, Robert was promoted to the position of Pharmacy Director.
Currently, Robert directs the pharmacy consultant department, purchasing and is the primary liaison between White Cross and the member facilities. Robert is also a board- certified immunizer and completed pharmacy compounding training through the Professional Compounding Centers of America.

Beth Brown
Business Manager
After graduating from URI, Beth began her career at the White Cross Pharmacy North Providence location as business manager. After the sale of the location, Beth began her 9-year tenure with ADJ Management. As business manager, Beth oversaw 24 Dunkin Donuts locations and 800 employees, working in technology advancement and financial reconciliation.
In 2008, Beth returned to the family business at White Cross. Her primary focuses include client billing solutions and insurance company liaison, as well as day-to-day operations of the pharmacy.
